Q. How long does it take for the beads to be shipped out?
A. There is a 5 business day processing time from the time you order your set to the time they are mailed out. Once dropped at USPS usually the shipping is 3 day.
Q. How do I tie my strand on?
A. There is a video on how to tie under the Shop / Product Care and Resources Tab
Q. Why should I sign up for emails?
A. Uyoyaa has promotions, self care information, and just general sister girl talk, and we want to include you. You will have exclusive access to new collections and OOAK (One of a Kind) sets. You will also be able to follow Uyoyaa at vending opportunities and get information on FB lives.
Q. Do I have to measure my waist? How do I know if I can fit the strand?
A. All of Uyoyaa’s strands are sized to a 54″ waist which is approximately a size 24-26. If you require a bigger size please note that with your order or message us. WE DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR PLUS SIZES.
Q. Is there a return policy?
A. No. All Sales are final and there are no returns or refunds for products purchased.
Q. Do you sell gift cards?
A. Yes. They are $25 and $100 online gift certificates. You purchase the gift card and the code given on the email sent to you will be the code used when the person that is gifted cashes in their online gift certificate.
Q. If I put in the wrong address when checking out, how can I correct it?
A. Once checked out the order is in processing. You have 15 mins from the time the order was sent to correct any changes to address only. Send an email through the website and the order will be updated as long as it comes through within 15 mins of original order.
Q. Do you sell stretchy sets or stands with clasps?
A. No. Uyoyaa only sells traditional tie strands.
Q. How does the waistbead kit work?
A. Your are mailed a kit that contains the items required to make your strand that is chosen. A card will be included in the kit that will have instructions, link to tutorial video, and a customized playlist for your bead creation and intention setting. You can purchase “The Box” for just yourself or make it a girls night and purchase the amount for you and your participants.
Q. How do I use my coupon code?
A. Please make sure that you are using the correct case as the codes are case sensitive. Please double check the spelling before submitting the code.
Q. If I wanted to have Uyoyaa as a vendor or have a waistbead party, how would I do that?
A. Please leave us a message detailing your needs and we will be happy to discuss it or how can help.
Q. If I wanted to gift someone a strand of waistbeads who did not know about waistbeads, is there some information that can be included with them?
A. Absolutely. Please note your order and we will include some historical and cultural information about waistbeads and include information about intentions.
